Ethics

The Permanent Select Committee on Ethics is a special standing committee consisting of seven members, including five randomly selected Senators serving a one-semester term per academic year, one member with prior Senate experience serving a full academic year, and the Ethics Committee Chair serving for a full academic term. The committee is tasked with investigating alleged violations of the Ethical Code of Conduct, the Undergraduate General Statutes, or Standing Rules by Senators or officers within the Senate. Furthermore, any member of the Undergraduate Student Body may submit complaints regarding improper actions of Senators or officers of The Senate of the Undergraduate Student Body to the Ethics Committee.
