The Undergraduate Student Senate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill represents about 30,000 undergraduate students through elected student Senators from nine districts. Senators take action by proposing legislation, reforms, and bills that aim to address issues affecting UNC both on and off campus. The Senate collaborates with various clubs and organizations to develop policies that are responsive to student needs, guided by the fundamental ideals of excellence, integrity, transparency, and inclusion.
