Rules and the Judiciary

The Senate Standing Committee on Rules and the Judiciary (R&J) is primarily responsible for reviewing various legislative aspects within the Undergraduate Student Government. They consider legislation related to The Student Law, appointments, nominations, and recommendations outlined in the Student Law. The committee is also responsible for reviewing changes to the Instrument of Student Judicial Governance. Additionally, the Committee Chair defends The Senate of the Undergraduate Student Body against complaints in the Student Supreme Court and may initiate complaints on behalf of The Senate of the Undergraduate Student Body.
