Apply for Funding-Fall 2019

*Finance Appropriations Notice*

*All Meetings have been pushed back for a two-week legislative cycle. No funding requests have been cancelled. If you submitted a request during the Funding Portal period, your request is still being processed. Meetings will resume 9/24 at 6pm*

Subsequent Appropriations for Fall 2019 is as follows:

The date and time for the opening of the portal for the Fall 2019 Subsequent Appropriations is as follows: 

Fall 2019 Subsequent Portal opened: Thursday, September, 5, 2019 at 5 pm; and

Closed: Friday, September 6, 2019 at 5 pm.

Treasurer’s Meeting was Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 5:00 pm in Location: Michael Hooker Research Center 0001 (BCBS Auditorium).

*NOTE* If you are absolutely unable to attend the Treasurer’s Meeting on Wednesday, September 4th at 5pm, then please review the presentation yourself and complete the check-in form. Please note that the Treasurer’s Meeting is a great time to ask the Finance Chair questions about funding, and emailing does not always guarantee a timely response *NOTE*

Organizations without a certified treasurer, or those without official UNC recognition, are not eligible for Undergraduate Student Government funding — the request will be automatically withdrawn if your treasurer is not certified, or organization is not officially recognized, by the time you appear before the Finance Committee.

If you were a Treasurer last year, and you have NOT taken the Treasurer Test since June 30, 2019, then you need to re-certify by retaking the test before applying for money.

Before taking the test, please read the Finance Regulations Title in the Undergraduate Student Code, which can be found here, to help you be successful on the test.

 

NOTE: As a result of the student government split, Undergraduate Senate does not fund to organizations with majority (more than 50%) graduate school members. These requests must go through GPSF.
